So very helpful, thank you! If I'm storing water in a 2.5 gallon water brick, can I use CD in that water for preservation? If so, how many drops would I use for x-year storage? Would it store safely for 5 years?

Thank you. Is there somewhere I can find out how much to use, & how long it will last?

For a 2.5 gallon water brick, for storage.

For 1 gallon (about 3.8 liters) of water: Add 8 drops of each solution (8 drops sodium chlorite and 8 drops HCl) to the activation container. Wait 30 seconds for activation.

So you would multiply 8 drops x 2.5 gallons

8 x 2.5 = 20 activated drops

Thank you SO much!! I have it saved currently with bleach...don't like the idea of that. Will empty them, refill & use CD. Thanks again!
