hello Curious Outlier. Thank you for doing god's work here. Today i'm reading pierre corey's substack on the history of chlorine dioxide. And now it's very nice to see your substack post on the same day.

Thank you tremendously for continuing to bring us info on more ways to use MMS and CDS. I can’t find how to use it as a vegetable/ fruit wash or to clean up drinking water. We have a Berkey but it’s not very clean. I also refill gallon bottles with Reverse osmosis which is my favorite.

Curious Outlier's avatar

Place 10 activated drops in 1 gallon of water and let your vegetables or fruits soak for two minutes. That will degrade any toxic residues on the produce.

By chance do you have any idea if it does anything against Apeel?

Expand full comment
Curious Outlier's avatar

I do not know that. I will have to look into that and find out what the chemical structure of that substance is. I think we can determine whether or not chlorine dioxide would have any effect on it.

Do you have any updated information about the outcome using it to dissolve Apeel or edipeel? ( initially Apeel was conventional and Edipeel was organic labeling)

Curious Outlier's avatar

If Bill Gates had anything to do with it, I wouldn't use it.

Faith's avatar

I agree, but sometimes there are no labels and if it’s possible , I was hoping it could help. Is there any chance ?

Sarah Christensen's avatar

that would be awesome, because I understand there are plans to use it on even organic fruits/veggies

It's unlikely that it will fully degrade Apeel. Chlorine Dioxide works better against proteins and Apeel is made from lipids. Here is a perplexity query that explains some methods that apparently can be used to remove.

Apeel coatings are primarily composed of plant-derived mono- and diglycerides, which are types of fats (lipids). Removing or fully degrading such lipid-based barriers involves either physical or chemical methods, or a combination of both.

Effective Methods for Full Degradation and Removal

1. Hot Water Washing

• Hot tap water (40–60 °C) can effectively remove lipid-based coatings with relatively low melting points. This is a practical method for coatings like Apeel, which are formulated to be removable under such conditions and are designed to be washed off with warm water.

2. Detergents and Surfactants

• Dishwashing detergents are formulated to break down fats and oils through emulsification, allowing the coating to mix with water and be rinsed away. They are effective at removing lipid films from surfaces and could be used for removing edible coatings like Apeel.

3. Strong Alkaline Solutions (Saponification)

• Alkaline substances such as diluted solutions of sodium hydroxide (lye) or even baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) at high concentrations can chemically react with fats through a process called saponification. This process breaks down triglycerides and related lipids into soap and glycerol, dissolving the coating, though such treatment is not food-safe and is generally not recommended for produce intended for consumption.

4. Lipase Enzymes

• Lipases are enzymes that specifically break down fats, turning mono- and diglycerides into glycerol and fatty acids. These enzymes are naturally found in animal and microbial systems and can catalyze the complete hydrolysis of lipid coatings.

5. Oxidative Agents (Not Recommended for Consumption)

• Strong oxidizers (e.g., concentrated hydrogen peroxide, ozone) can degrade fats but are unsuitable for food-handling due to safety hazards.

so awesome thank you for taking the time and getting back to this I really appreciate it!

Wow! Thank you so much for all of your information. Can I ask … what do you think of using Grapefruit seed extract to break it down?

Expand full comment
Curious Outlier's avatar

Grapefruit seed extract does not appear to be effective at breaking down Apeel coatings, as it does not contain components that emulsify or saponify fats.

Thank you for all that you do, once I get my brain back on track a little bit more and I'm able to find something other than prednisone that increases its executive functioning I will do a paid subscription so I can bring more on magnesium as I know there are so many different Forms of it and varieties of it out there. My eyes were really open with Suzanne Humphreys post talking about vitamin C and scurvy and right side dysfunction of the heart because of the scurvy as I was plagued the last four years with high systolic as well as HTN, but the high dystopic was not typical of anything I've ever had and of course the high heart rate Which I believe DMS has helped with profoundly, but it's not helping the technician like I hoped it would, or should I say executive functioning. Thank you so much for all that you have shared and contributed. be safe, and keep doing what brings you joy

For who ever that's doing the beginners 1000 Protocol and using Safrax pills, do you have to set overnight when you make? And how many drops in a leter? Or gallon ? And when it torns yellow and ready to drink. Do you put in small glass of water . Because that's Alot of water to drink if you r doing 3 drops to a glass of water every hour for 8 hours. I ordered my bottle droplet today and plan on making this evening.Thank you for who ever replies.

Could you say a bit about Protocol 1000 plus DMSO?

Expand full comment
Curious Outlier's avatar

This is from page 88 of the MMS health recovery guidebook by Jim Humble

"This protocol is simply adding DMSO to the MMS1 Protocol 1000 dose which is 3 activated drops per hour (or sometimes less). With Protocol 1000 Plus, you add in 3 drops of DMSO for each drop of MMS. Or, in case you have not progressed to 3 drops an hour by this time, continue the same amount of MMS1 you’ve been taking and add in the DMSO accordingly. For example, if you are taking a 3-drop dose of MMS1, you would add 9 drops of DMSO. If you are taking a 2-drop dose of MMS1, you would add 6 drops of DMSO"

Hello! I've been using chlorine dioxide to store water in plastic 5 gal storage bottles. Does the chlorine dioxide eventually cause the plastic to break down in the water so that one is drinking plastic?

Curious Outlier's avatar

Chlorine Dioxide will be broken down into neutral substances before they would ever Break down the plastic. Also, the low PPM Will not hurt the plastic.

Also...I have the safrax tablets. I have a fifty-five gallon bucket from which I water my chickens. How many tablets should I use to get rid of bacteria AND the flouride the city puts in? Thank you so much!

Expand full comment
Curious Outlier's avatar

You would want to make a 10 ppm solution for your 55 gallon bucket. Safrax should provide you with the number of tablets that would be required.
